The recent
- 2011- FOREVER STURM + 2009 UNTIL THE DAY are
marvelously represented here, with photo records of
their Austrian premieres. DAY has been
translated by Mike Mitchel and published, but not had
its English language premiere [in tandem with
Beckett's KRAPP, since it is, as it were, the ying to
Beckett's yang]. Whoever seeks to translate STURM
better take a deep draught of Shakespeare first!

at the Burg Theater of Die-schoenen-Tage-von-Aranjuez

with a discussion at Scott's Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick site
where we discussed earlier in 2011 Handke's latest novel
